Curriculum

Our Curriculum encompasses any school activity that has a bearing on a student's learning. This means that all of the subjects that we teach together with our class, departmental and whole school assemblies are all integral parts of our curriculum. We have put a huge amount of energy and effort into ensuring that the curriculum meets the needs of our students and that students enjoy learning.

Educational visits and residential experiences are important elements of each child's overall learning at Westlands School, as are the delivery of our rewards and sanctions (see 'Policies' section of the website). Other aspects of school life including breakfast club, lunch time homework clubs and extended school clubs make a vital contribution to the curriculum as a whole.
